Intro to Musical Theatre is a semester-long elective course offered at North. Students will learn the history of American musical theatre and the different careers associated with the theatre industry. Students will complete the course with a capstone project that could include a music scenes program. Students will have the option to be performers; compose music or write scenes; produce or direct the show; or work with sets, costumes, lights, or sound. Students will be introduced to these through reading, in-class demonstration, videos, and extensive listening.
